4 Ronald Koeman is looking at bringing in the Belgian international to Goodison Park on Deadline Day
Batshuayi’s future at Stamford Bridge looks uncertain after the club brought in Alvaro Morata, while they are closing in on the signing of Swansea City star Fernando Llorente.
And according to French news outlet Foot Mercato, the 23-year-old has emerged as a ‘serious’ target for Koeman.
He played second fiddle to Diego Costa in West London last season, and has only played 82 minutes of Premier League football this campaign.
Everton were interested in a possible loan deal for Costa until January, but they were not prepared to fork out approximately £184,000-a-week before his impending switch to Atletico Madrid in January for £49million.
This has led the Belgian international to be at the top of the pile for Koeman – who is not content with the signings of Wayne Rooney and Sandro Ramirez up top.
The ex-Manchester United man has played in a deeper role this season, while the former Malaga maestro is yet to break his duck for his new side.
